Homecare Grants

The IMNDA provides financial assistance towards home care hours for people living with MND.

This home care grant is awarded once one our nurses has completed a needs assessment. During 2021 we spent €382,000 on home care grants.

Essential hours needed for both our clients and their primary carer. We receive very little state or HSE funding towards this service, the majority is funded through community fundraising and campaigns like this.
